Easy method of cooking pitas with turkey and vegetables

we have today recipe of : Easy mthod of cooking pitas with turkey and vegetables


Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: no cooking required

75 ml (1/3 cup) of plain Greek yogurt 0% M. G.
30 ml (2 tbsp.) Light mayonnaise
5 ml (1 tsp.) Dijon mustard or mustard yellow
1 ml (1/4 tsp.) Freshly ground pepper
375 ml (1½ cups) chopped cooked turkey breast (about 227 g / 8 oz)
125 ml (1/2 cup) red or green peppers, diced
60 ml (1/4 cup) shredded carrots
2 whole grain pitas
4 Boston lettuce leaves
¼ English cucumber, thinly sliced
In a large bowl, combine yogurt, mayonnaise, mustard and pepper. Add turkey, red and green peppers and carrots and toss until well coated.
Cut pitas in half and open pockets. Fill each pocket with lettuce and cucumber slices, then add the mixture to the turkey.
Makes 4 servings.
